What would happen if you DID THIS one thing for yourself?

Hello !
Most people become uncomfortable with the thought of networking because they usually think about it when they need something.
But, instead of thinking about networking as a way to get something for yourself, flip your mindset! When you do, you will embrace networking as a part of your career development while making an impact on the people you know.
You can make the change by thinking differently---reframe the reason you're networking by taking the GIVING approach rather than thinking that you're only reaching out because you're in need!
Ask yourself...
"What 2 people can reach out to today and introduce them to another person in my network?"
"Who have I worked with in the past that is doing interesting work? I'd like to learn more about them today."
"There's a colleague that would really find this article interesting, I'll share it with him."
Talking with people you know can open doors for you, but you can also open doors for them! So, I suggest that a distaste for networking is HOLDING YOU BACK, before you even start. It's just this one big scary word, that can STOP YOU from enriching your professional life.
When you know the value you can offer in your profession, you can have a magnetic resume and profile, have great conversations, and successful
interviews.
