Sorry to say it, but it's most likely the way you think.
You underwhelm the reader in your resume & profile. When you present yourself, you don't focus on the value you offer.
Why? It could be that you think you're bragging, impostor syndrome, or you don't recall the impactful contributions you've made.
One of my favorite sayings is "Don't Believe Everything You Think".
That means, our mindset is not programmed to think about what we've accomplished, and our accomplishments are important to our career future.
FLIP THE SWITCH...
When we coach clients on their career strategy and how to build relationships that lead to career referrals, we begin with a resume and profile because that's the start of becoming aware of skills and confidence in
communicating value propositions. With a mindset shift toward value statements, networking conversations and interviews lead to positive outcomes.
If you're willing to accept that what you're thinking can change so you can communicate your value and create opportunities for yourself, then you're in the right place.
