A Work-Life Balance Begins With Mindset & the Right Job
Finding a work-life balance starts with choosing a job that you enjoy that also aligns with your particular lifestyle. Having this balance improves work and life satisfaction, fosters better relationships, improves health, and boosts productivity. In this article, we offer some tips on how you can build a great career while also having a
lifestyle that you love.
Define Your Work-Life Balance Goals
Work-life balance can mean different things to different people, so it is important to define what it looks like for your life. For example, it could mean having the freedom to work remotely, more vacation time, or more time spent with your family. Write down and prioritize the things that are most important for your life and look for
jobs that can match your criteria.

Protect Your LinkedIn Access with 2 Step Verification
When returning from Thanksgiving travel, I received a text with a code to verify a login to my LinkedIn account. It originated from another state and operating system (a PC, vs. a Mac)---someone was trying to get
access to my account!
Fortunately, I had my security settings enabled with a 2-Step Verification featureand it SAVED THE
DAY!
WHAT DID I DO?
I immediately CHANGED MY PASSWORD.
I recommend that you protect access to your account by enabling the 2 Step Verification feature---it will only take a few seconds to set it up!
Good security habits that discourage hacking include several SECURITY LEVELS that make it more cumbersome for the desperate soul or BOT to break into your account. Set up2-step verification and change your password every few months.
HOW IT WORKS
Under account settings, you can have LinkedIn text you a code when there's a sign in to your account. If it's a perpetrator, they will need that code to access your
account.
