ie. the thing you’ve spent HUNDREDS of hard-working hours for, yet haven’t checked in lately to see how I was even doing.

(hint: I’m NOT ok.)

Anyway, I know it’s weird that I’m reaching out to you like this.

But you left me no choice.

Cause we need to talk…

… and you’ve been ignoring my passive-aggressive cries for help for far too long.

You know, like how I’ve been…

… Flooding your email inbox with “job opportunities” that get hundreds of applicants on day 1.

… Spamming your LinkedIn feed with career advice that says, “The number 1 reason most don’t get hired is their “LinkedIn profile”

… Putting as many “Easy Apply” applications in front of you as possible in hopes you’ve gotten tired of being ghosted again and again …

I thought that by doing all these things,  you’d finally pay attention to me.

But noooo…..

Instead you’ve paid even MORE attention to your online job application strategies - that cheesy green “Open to work” banner that does nothing but make you look desperate, the half-effort cold DM’s you spend way too much time thinking about, and the consideration of hiring someone to yet again - “fix your resume”.

So while you’ve been spending those hours on LinkedIn job scrolling (sorry, I mean “networking”)...

I’ve been sulking here, playing Bob Dylan’s “It’s ok Ma, I’m only bleedin’” on an infinite loop.

I mean… C’mon!

What does an anthropomorphic career-strategy have to do to get a little attention around here?

And it wouldn’t make me so dang, well, angry if it wasn’t for all the life-satisfaction we’re leaving on the table!

I mean, you’re supposed to use me to place dream jobs AT YOUR FEET!

I exist to get people to send YOU jobs, and beg to hire YOU asap.

That’s literally all I’m here for.

(yes, I’m still here)
